Development of a new 70-acre nature park on land owned by the City of Crawfordsville. Brickyard Nature Park will create a unique regional outdoor recreation amenity just minutes from downtown Crawfordsville. The City owns 104 acres on the south edge of the Crawfordsville Commerce Park. Portions of the site will potentially be used for further development of the Commerce Park, while 70 acres will be dedicated for the park. The project is expected to take approximately 17 months for completion; and includes: entrance sign, paved parking area, gravel trail, shade shelter, and a nature play area. The READI investment will be in grading and site work, drainage work, entrance/wayfinding signs, and the entry shelter.
