Overview

This project is a sanitary sewer extension to support development northeast and along the future Ronald Reagan Parkway Corridor. The extension of sanitary sewer is needed to meet the demand of future growth in the corridor and attract economic development opportunities. Approximately $20M in recent investments to the sanitary sewer system have been completed. A separate 36" sanitary sewer is being bid in late 2022 running east/west along CR 700N. The project will be a 24" gravity sewer to run from CR 700N to Maloney Road paralleling the future Ronald Reagan Corridor. The extension will provide service for 3,960 EDUs. Design will begin in early 2023 and construction will be complete by the end of 2024. Properly sized and designed infrastructure allows for regional economic development without the pollution risk associated with on site/septic treatment facilities.
