Development of a master plan to extend the White River Greenway Trail network and provide linkage between trails in central and southern Indiana. The master plan would include reaching consensus on a long-term plan for the full development of the trail along the White River in Morgan County, including key trail spurs. The plan would feature an implementation strategy that would break the trail into segments representing individual projects. Cost estimates and preliminary plans would be prepared for each section. Right-of-way needs and permitting requirements would also be identified. This information will help Morgan County be prepared with the information needed to apply to DNR and other sources for future funding of trail construction. Master plan would be complete by mid-2024.
