The Meadowbrook project will provide water infrastructure in support of a 140 new housing units in the City of Frankfort. The City has a committed developer for the first phase implementation of 25 mid-market rate homes. The $1.5 million in READI funding will extend water infrastructure into the site to provide a connection point for site developers. The City of Frankfort will provide the public match - $1.5 million to complete water, wastewater, stormwater, broadband and roadway infrastructure. The private developer is currently completing the engineering and is committed to the project. The preliminary estimated private investment is approximately $8 million. The water infrastructure project will be publicly bid in the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2023 and construction will be complete by the end of 2024.
